PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve unit capable of suppressing accumulation of foreign substances or compositions contained in liquid, and further to provide a liquid ejection device.SOLUTION: A valve unit for opening and closing a flow passage comprises: a unit main body inside which a pressure adjustment chamber 23 is provided; a film for sealing an opening of the pressure adjustment chamber 23; a pressure receiving plate 31 adhered to the film; a valve body coupled to the pressure receiving plate 31; and a spring for biasing the valve body toward the film. The pressure adjustment chamber 23 includes: an inlet port 22 in which liquid flows; an outlet port 26a from which the liquid is discharged; a wall portion 27 provided in a region relatively facing the pressure receiving plate 31; and a first recessed portion 28 provided in the region relatively facing the pressure receiving plate 31. The valve body opens and closes the inlet port 22, the inlet port 22 is provide in the first recessed portion 28, and an interval between the wall portion 27 and the pressure receiving plate 31 is smaller than an interval between the first recessed portion 28 and the pressure receiving plate 31 in a movement axial direction of the valve body. As viewed in a plan view in the movement axial direction of the valve body, the wall portion 27 is provided such that the first recessed portion 28 is disposed from the inlet port 22 toward a side opposite to the outlet port 26a with respect to the inlet port 22. |
