PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a denitration catalyst for ammonia catalytic reduction that does not contain V, Mo, and W as active ingredients and has high denitration catalyst activity and high abrasion strength.SOLUTION: A denitration catalyst, which contains Fe-containing gypsum, titanium oxide, and aluminum sulfate, does not contain V, Mo, and W, and has an atomic ratio of Fe to Ti of more than 0 and not more than 0.05, is obtained by a method including kneading Fe-containing gypsum, titanium oxide, and aluminum sulfate in the presence of water and drying and calcining the kneaded material. |
