BINDER PREMIX, BINDER MIXTURE AND CONCRETE COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high performance cement containing a small amount of portland cement, a method for blending the same and a premix or a mixture useful for the blending.SOLUTION: There is provided: a binder premix which contains 0.2 to 63% of a material in an ultrafine particle size range having particles having a D90 value of smaller than 1μm and/or a BET specific surface area of larger than 5 m2/g, 8 to 63% of a selected portland cement having particles having a D90 value of smaller than 30μm and 25 to 85% of a material which is different from cement and in an ultrafine particle size range having particles having D10 and D90 values of 1 to 120μm and a BET specific surface area of smaller than 5 m2/g; and in addition to the premix, a binder mixture which contains 20 to 60% of a material in a medium particle size range having particles having D10 and D90 values of 120 to 5 mm and in which the material in the ultrafine particle size range contains silica foams in an amount of about 0 to 1 percent of the total mass of the material in the ultrafine particle size range.
