PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate sound collection state appropriately while suppressing complication of device configuration.SOLUTION: An index calculating section 42 calculates a sound collection state index Q depending on the non-normality of intensity distribution of acoustic signal X generated from a sound collection device 24. The sound collection state index Q is calculated depending on the higher-order statistics (e.g., kurtosis) becoming the index of non-normality of intensity distribution of the acoustic signal X. A notification control section 44 notifies a user of the quality of sound collection state by the sound collection device 24 from a notification device 26, depending on the sound collection state index Q calculated by the index calculating section 42.
