<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of the roller body, compared with the conventional roller body using carbon steel as a material.SOLUTION: A roll shell 1a is formed of a conductive material having a specific gravity smaller than that of carbon steel, and thereby the weight of the roller body 1 can be reduced. Fitting problem of the boss 1c and the rotating shaft 2 can be prevented when the roller temperature rises, by using a member having the thermal conductivity lower than that of the roll shell 1a in at least one of the flange 1b and boss 1c, or by equalizing or approximating the coefficient of thermal expansion of the boss 1c and the rotating shaft 2.</p> |
