PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmitting/receiving system including a plurality of transmitters and a receivers and capable of reducing demodulation (capture) load of a transmitted signal.SOLUTION: IMES100 includes a plurality of transmitters 10 and a receiver 20. Each of the plurality of transmitters 100 includes a transmission unit 14 which transmits an IMES signal containing positional information which can abe demodulated by a GPS receiver. The receiver 20 comprises a reception unit 21 which receives the IMES signal transmitted from the transmitter 10 as a received signal and a demodulation unit 22 which demodulates the received signal by performing correlation operation between a replica signal and the received signal while shifting a phase of the replica signal. The transmitter 10 also includes a phase control unit 13 which controls the phase of the IMES signal so that it becomes a prescribed phase between the plurality of transmitters 10. The demodulation unit 22 of the receiver 20 performs the correlation operation while shifting the phase of the replica signal within a prescribed range including the prescribed phase.
