A cracking detection system capable of heating a detection target region of a detection object, analyzing images taken before and after heating of a coated surface of the detection target region, and detecting cracking from a strain distribution of the detection target region obtained without compromising the coated surface of the detection target region. An image of a detection target region (51) of a detection object (50) is taken by an imaging means (10), after which the detection target region (51) is heated by a heating means (20), and a change in the detection target region due to heating appears also on a surface through a coating on an outside which moves together with the detection target region. Therefore, an image of the detection target region is retaken for each coating, images taken before and after heating are analyzed by an image analysis means (30), a strain distribution of the detection target region is acquired, and cracking can be detected from a difference in strain state between a cracked portion and a non-cracked portion. Through this configuration, analysis can be continued without problems and cracking can be detected by taking an image of the detection target region for each coating, there is no need to remove a coating, and the working efficiency of detection is enhanced. |
