The invention relates to a method to enable a permanent coating of molded bodies made of plastic by means of atmospheric plasma, which method comprises the following steps: producing a molded body of a composite material, which composite material comprises at least one thermoplastic polymer as a base material and at least boron nitride as an inorganic filler, wherein the volume fraction of the filler is 1-50% of the volume of the molded body, coating at least part of the molded body with the coating material by means of atmospheric plasma. The invention further relates to a component comprising a molded body having a coating material that can be produced according to the method according to the invention.
