<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for characterizing lenses.SOLUTION: A test chart for characterizing lenses comprises: X radial lines extending from a central point; and Y concentric X-sided polygons centered at a central point. Each of the X radial lines intersects one vertex of each of the polygons. Each of the X radial lines is divided into Y segments by intersection points between the central point and the polygons. The radial lines and the polygons define boundaries of X*Y non-overlapping patches. At least two of the patches share a boundary and are colored so as to be distinguished from each other.</p> |
