<p>The present invention provides in a process for obtaining glued fibers (75) suitable for the production of fiberboards, characterized by the following steps: carrying fibers (75) in an air stream for the removal of high density contaminants from the dried fibers by means of gravity, and gluing said dried fibers. The invention thereto also provides a modified air density separator (64) comprising one or more injection means (80) for a gluing composition.
