<p>A new dental appliance incorporates mandibular advancement blocks into upper and lower sequential plastic aligners, enabling simultaneous treatment of both crooked teeth and an undershot jaw. Because the alignment of teeth can proceed together with the correction of the jaw relationship and upper dental protrusion, this approach is far more efficient than a sequential treatment approach of first correcting jaw alignment with mandibular advancement and then afterwards, straightening the teeth with sequential plastic aligners.</p> |
