PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas meter enabling a worker and the like to recognize whether or not the gas meter accommodates to the output request of pulses corresponding to a gas flow rate, by the appearance of the gas meter itself, without pasting a seal and the like to the gas meter.SOLUTION: The gas meter has flow rate detecting means 51 for outputting a detection signal corresponding to a detected flow rate of gas, controlling means for calculating the flow rate of the gas on the basis of the detection signal, indicating means for indicating information about the flow rate of the gas calculated by the controlling means, and pulse output means for outputting pulses corresponding to the flow rate of the gas calculated by the controlling means. The controlling means can set the pulse output means in an operation state or in a stop state, and indicates pulse operation state information which indicates that the pulse output means is in the operation state, at any position (a recognition information display portion 21) of the indicating means 1c, when setting the pulse output means in the operation state. |
