<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing a high quality melt-anisotropy aromatic polyester fiber having no fibrillation and single yarn breakages or the like in the rewinding and heat treatment processes yet having a thin single yarn fineness, at a low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided an aromatic polyester fiber production method by melt spinning an aromatic polyester that exhibits an anisotropy at melting, to obtain a multi-filament having a single yarn fineness of 4.0 dtex or less, in which it is wound to a bobbin 9 at a spinning take-up tension of 5 to 60 cN. The method is for aromatic polyester fibers having a total fineness of 10 dtex or more and 500 dtex or less, and the number of filaments in a range of 3 to 1000.</p> |
