The present invention relates to the technical field of illumination. A method of manufacturing multiple U-shaped sodium lamp inner tubes, and compact plasma sodium lamp employing the same, solving the problems of low surface brightness, low luminous efficiency and large overall length of an existing low-pressure sodium lamp; the manufacturing method comprises: bending a tube, connecting to an air discharging rod (2), sealing and internally discharging the air; filling the air discharging rod (2) of the sealed U-shaped anti-sodium glass tube (1) with metallic sodium; connecting to a vacuum system; providing current to a connected conducting wire (3) to generate joule heat to decompose alkaline earth metal oxide on an electrode (4); after completing the decomposition, filling with argon gas to break down air via voltage to generate glow discharge and complete activation; heating the air discharging rod (2) storing metallic sodium to enable sodium to flow into the U-shaped anti-sodium glass tube (1); filling the U-shaped anti-sodium glass tube (1) with air and removing the air discharging rod (2) to prepare multiple U-shaped sodium lamp inner tubes. The lamp cap (8) of a sodium source lamp is electrically connected to a sodium lamp inner tube (9); the inner wall of the glass outer tube body (7) is provided with stannic oxide far-infrared reflective film via plasma spraying.
