PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophoretic display device excellent in productivity.SOLUTION: The electrophoretic display device comprises: a thin film transistor having an insulator layer having an opening, a semiconductor layer provided within the opening and forming a channel part, a gate electrode superposed on the semiconductor layer through a gate insulating film, and a source electrode and a drain electrode electrically connected to the semiconductor layer; and a layer including a first electrode electrically connected to the thin film transistor, a second electrode opposed to the first electrode, and a microcapsule provided between the first electrode and the second electrode. |
