PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to generate a composite image suitable for extracting paint on a road surface.SOLUTION: In an image display system, images picked up by a plurality of cameras are acquired (S110). Then, among the acquired picked up images, a plurality of picked up images whose paint detection areas for detecting a road surface paint do not overlap are selected (S120), and a composite image, which is a combination of the selected picked up images, is formed (S125, S130). According to such an image display system, a composite image, which is a combination of the picked up images whose paint detection areas do not overlap, can be generated. Accordingly, the need to remove the paint detection areas in a process of generating a composite image is eliminated. As a result, part of a clear image is prevented from being removed even in a case where a paint detection area has a mixture of an unclear image and a clear image. Accordingly, a road surface paint can be extracted using this image to the maximum. |
