<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station which can determine by itself whether there is normal power supply or power failure, and autonomously shift into an operation mode suitable for a power failure situation without requiring complicated control from a host communication network.SOLUTION: A base station 110a which is configured to perform radio communication with a radio terminal 104 and reception of control signals from neighboring base stations 110b to 110g, comprises: a reception number monitoring unit 112a which monitors the number of reception of control signals; a ratio determination unit 112b which determines whether a ratio of the monitored reception number to the normal reception number is less than a predetermined ratio; and an operation mode switching unit 112c which, when the ratio determination unit determines that the ratio of the monitored reception number to the normal reception number is less than the predetermined ratio, switches the current operation mode of the base station to a line number securing priority mode that preferentially secures the number of lines of radio terminals.</p> |
