PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition and hard coat material that can be used to form a hard coat film having excellent pencil hardness, slipperiness, antifouling property, low curing shrinkage and transparency, as well as also having excellent flexing resistance and scratch resistance.SOLUTION: A curable composition contains: an organic-inorganic composite (A) obtained by surface treating an inorganic oxide fine particle with a silane coupling agent having at least 2 (meth)acryloyl groups to covalently bond the silane coupling agent to the inorganic oxide fine particle; a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate monomer (B) having at least 2 (meth)acryloyl groups; a polymerization initiator (C); and an antifouling-property imparting agent (D) comprising a fluorine-containing compound having perfluoro polyether structure and carbon-carbon double bond, in a predetermined ratio. Also, the hard coat material comprises the curable composition.
