PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable resource allocation capable of effectively utilizing the resources of a central processing unit to be performed, in management interval units, for a process executed in the central processing unit.SOLUTION: A resource management device 30 comprises: a determination unit 31 determines that a management interval be extended until a resource use rate drops to or below an upper-limit value for all processes, the resource use rate being a percentage occupied, with respect to an elapsed time from when a management interval started, by an execution time pertaining to each individual process executed separately in time by a central processing unit 20; and an allocation unit 32 for allocating a target execution time to a process after the management interval started, and, when there exists, after the determination unit 31 determined that the management interval be extended, a process which is executable and the resource use rate of which is less than the upper-limit value, allocating a new execution time to the process even when the process has used up the target execution time.
