<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sand-wall like aqueous coating composition which does not generate cracks and pinholes at an abutment portion even when a wall substrate having a sand wall-like design and abutting with another member makes movements, and to provide a method for applying the same.SOLUTION: Provided is a sand wall-like aqueous coating composition comprising: an acrylic resin emulsion having a glass transition temperature of -20°C or higher and lower than 10°C; an aggregate (A) having an average particle size of 100μm or more and less than 250μm; an aggregate (B) having an average particle diameter of 700μm or more and less than 1200μm; elastic chips comprising an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin having a particle diameter of 0.3 mm or more and 2.0 mm or less; pigment; a filler having an average particle diameter of less than 100μm; a thickener; and a film-forming adjuvant. As a method of applying the sand wall-like aqueous coating composition, spray coating is possible.</p> |
