<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical glass which has desired near infrared absorption characteristics, less likely induces problems such as striae in a molding process, and can be mass-produced.SOLUTION: The optical glass comprises, in terms of cationic %, 15 to 50% of P, 7 to 18% of Al, 10 to 50% of R(where R represents at least one element selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Zn), 5 to 40% of R'(where R' represents at least one element selected from Li, Na, and K), 2 to 12% of Cu, and in terms of anionic %, 10 to 60% of Fand 40 to 90% of O; and the optical glass has a liquid phase temperature of 700°C or lower, a liquid phase viscosity of 10poise or more, and a glass transition temperature of 360°C or lower.</p> |
