A rear side panel assembly of a motor vehicle body includes an inner side panel element and an outer side panel element. The inner and outer side panel elements are joined to one another in the transverse direction (y) of the vehicle. The inner side panel element has, in relation to the vertical direction (z) of the vehicle, a wheel arch adjoining downwards onto a longitudinal beam and an inner roof frame profile adjoining upwards onto a vehicle roof. The outer side panel element has on its outer side, facing away from the inner side panel element, a connection region for the detachable arrangement of a rear fender. |
