摘要 A power capacitor and a manufacturing method thereof. The power capacitor comprises a core installed in a main insulator and at least two leading-out terminals connected to an external circuit. The core comprises a plurality of welding components that are overlapped with each other. Each welding component comprises a plurality of capacitor elements. Each capacitor element is formed through the winding of two aluminum foil sheets and two groups of films. Two electrodes that separately extend from opposite directions of edges of the films are provided on the two aluminum foil sheets on each capacitor element, and the size a of each electrode is within a range from 10 mm to 15 mm. The capacitor elements in each welding component are electrically connected to each other by using a first multi-layer joint welding ultrasonic welding structure, the welding components are electrically connected to each other by using a second multi-layer joint welding ultrasonic welding structure, and two welding components at an upper end and a lower end of the core are separately electrically connected to the leading-out terminals by using a multi-layer joint welding cold mechanical clamping structure. By using the present invention, the size of each electrode can be reduced by 50% to 60%, and the capacitance of each capacitor element can be increased by 6% to 10%.
