PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal cutting device capable of dispersing a shearing stress applied on a cut die by making a cutting blade of a cut punch for cutting a lead terminal non-parallel to the arranging direction of the lead terminal.SOLUTION: The terminal cutting device comprises: a support base 120 on which a body part 112 of an electronic component 110 is mounted; a cut die 130 which is positioned outside the support base 120 and which abuts the bases of a plurality of lead terminals 114 extending from the body part 112; a pressing member 140 which abuts and presses against the upper surface of the lead terminal 114; and a cut punch 150 which is arranged so as to move vertically at a position outside the cut die 130 and which cuts the plurality of lead terminals 114 from the upper surface side when moved downward. On the cut punch 150, a cutting blade 152 is formed so as to be non-parallel to the arranging direction of the plurality of lead terminals 114 and so as to be tilted in a longitudinal direction. |
