PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mitigate a load of a series of processing of embedding identification information in a content and distributing the content.SOLUTION: A content supply device comprises: a digital watermark processing unit which spatially divides a content into a plurality of regions, embeds identification information for the reception side as a digital watermark in each region for embedment of the digital watermark in a plurality of the divided regions to create a plurality of streams to be received by the reception side corresponding to the identification information, and creates a stream to be received in common by a plurality of reception sides on each region without embedment of the digital watermark; a MPD processing unit which creates a MPD for describing information needed for the reception side acquiring the stream and distributes the MPD in response to a request from the reception side; and a stream distribution unit which distributes the created stream in response to the request from the reception side based on the MPD. This disclosure can be applied to a system for distributing a content.
