<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens barrel that is made compact and improves design freedom.SOLUTION: A lens barrel includes a first frame 130, a second frame 335, and a retreat lens frame 401. The second frame 335 is supported inside the first frame 130 so as to be able to move in an optical axis direction with respect to the first frame 130. The retreat lens frame 401 is held by the second frame 335 and holds at least one lens L3. The first frame 130 has at least a contact part a7 inside its inner peripheral surface. The retreat lens frame 401 has a protrusion 411 engaged with the contact part a7. During a transition period between a photographable state and a storage state, the retreat lens frame 401 moves in a direction vertical to an optical axis with respect to the second frame 335 as the protrusion 411 moves along the contact a7.</p> |
