Provided is an antenna, such as a TEM-type antenna or a microstrip-type antenna, which is provided with rung conductors and a shield conductor which are electrically connected for use. A holding member for maintaining the shape of the shield conductor is configured by joining ribs and thin walls together. An inner holding member is configured from a structural material. Furthermore, holes are provided in the inner holding member, and/or the shield conductor and the holding member adhered thereto. Accordingly, during production, affixation of the conductors can be performed via the holes from an exterior of the cylindrical antenna.
