PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell for low illuminance capable of imparting excellent photoelectric conversion characteristics and durability under low illuminance.SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell for low illuminance includes: an action electrode; a counter electrode 20 facing the action electrode; and an electrolyte provided between the action electrode and the counter electrode 20. The counter electrode 20 has a substrate 21 and a carbon catalyst layer 22 that is provided on the substrate 21 and contains carbon. The carbon catalyst layer 22 has gaps and has specific surface area of 30 to 350 m/g. |
