PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel phase change ink compositions containing amorphous material and crystalline material suitable for ink jet high speed printing.SOLUTION: A phase change ink contains: a crystalline component selected from among distearyl terephthalate, didocosyl terephthalate and mixtures thereof; an amorphous component being an aromatic rosin ester; and an optional colorant.
