<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight calcium silicate board that has high mechanical strength, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A calcium silicate board includes a tobermorite crystal, wherein: the calcium silicate board includes the tobermorite crystal so that the sum of products of the strength and half width of peak tops derived from the tobermorite crystal in an XRD pattern of the calcium silicate is 60% or more with respect to the sum of products of the strength and half width of the peak top in an XRD pattern of a reference tobermorite crystal; and the calcium silicate board comprises pores so that the sum of the pore volume measured by mercury porosimetry is 0.97 to 4.6 cm/g, the sum of the log differential pore volume of pores having a pore diameter of 5.0μm or less is 90% or more with respect to the sum of the log differential pore volume of the total pores, and the sum of the log differential pore volume of pores having a pore diameter of 200 nm to 1.0μm inclusive is 2.5 to 40% inclusive with respect to the sum of the log differential pore volume of the total pores.</p> |
