<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure for a periphery of a final disposal site capable of securely preventing any lateral infiltration of rain water.SOLUTION: A waterproof structure for a periphery 40 disposed on a vertical wall support body 30 comprises: a foundation retaining wall 41 including a groove part 41a formed on the side surface on the outer peripheral side; a drain ditch 42 disposed on the further outer peripheral side with respect to the foundation retaining wall 41; a rubble layer 44 disposed on an area between the foundation retaining wall 41 and the drain ditch 42; and a waterproof unit 43 disposed to cover a part of outer peripheral surface of the foundation retaining wall 41, an area between the foundation retaining wall 41 and the drain ditch 42 and an outer peripheral surface of the drain ditch 42. The waterproof unit 43 is fixed with its end parts onto the inner peripheral surface of the groove part 41a of the foundation retaining wall 41.</p> |
