<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly, safe, and sanitary pressure cooker for microwave ovens allowing the cooking by a microwave oven.SOLUTION: The pressure cooker for microwave ovens is so configured that, when a peripheral wall (8) of a lid body (2) covers an opening wall (5) of a pot body (1) and the lid body is rotationally turned to fasten lid lugs (15) with pot lugs (14), a packing (11) is sandwiched between an annular seat (9) of the lid body (2) and the opening wall (5) of the pot body (1) that face each other. The pressure cooker includes energizing means (25) that advances push means (22) from a storage chamber (23) formed on a lid handle (10) of the lid body (2) via an insertion hole (24) towards the packing. The push means (22) includes a holding groove (32) at a tip end for holding an outer peripheral edge of the packing (11), and seal means (29) for airtightly sealing the insertion hole (24) from the inside of the storage chamber (23), with it advanced to an advancement position (P1) by the energizing means (25).</p> |
