<p>A method for searching satellite channels according to the embodiment of the present invention includes the steps of: receiving an input for the satellite channels to be searched; searching a database which is stored in a storage unit or is connected through a network; extracting transponder (TP) information and satellite information including a channel a user wants, from the database; storing the extracted TP information and satellite information; calculating a motor angle based on the location information of a satellite antenna and the satellite information; moving the satellite antenna based on the calculated motor angle; and performing a tuning operation based on a signal received from a satellite corresponding to the satellite information. Thereby, various functions are supported and the convenience of a user is improved by easily searching and setting the satellite channels.</p> |
