<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure floatation type scum separation apparatus which makes efficient scraping and dehydration of floating scum within a screw conveyor.SOLUTION: A floating separation tank 1 carrying out floating separation of sewage has a communication cylinder e for collecting scum guided by an oblique scum guide. On the upper side of the floating separation tank, a screw conveyor type scum discharge device 17 is fixed obliquely, and the scrum discharge apparatus has a casing in which a rectangular scum intake port 20 opened on the lower side of the inclination is communicated with the communication cylinder and fixed and which can discharges scum through a discharge port 35 opened on the upper side of the inclination, a scraping screw and dehydration means which is provided in the upper part of the casing and compresses scrum to remove moisture. The water level of sewage in the floating separation tank is set to be 1/2 of the diameter of the scraping screw high relative to the lower end part of the lower periphery on the upper side of the inclination of the scum intake port.</p> |
