Provided is a secondary cell production method by which a wound body can be effectively permeated by an electrolyte. The method comprises the following: a step for decompressing the inside of an outer casing (30); a step for introducing an electrolyte (E) to the inside of the decompressed outer casing (30); a step for decompressing the inside of the outer casing (30); a step for introducing an electrolyte (E) to the inside of the decompressed outer casing (30); a step for causing a wound body (100) to be permeated by the electrolyte (E) from both axial-direction ends (100a, 100b) of the wound body; a step for bringing about a standby state after permeation by the electrolyte (E) in order to reduce the pressure difference between a wound body outside space (S), which is the space between the outer casing (30) and the wound body, and a wound body inside space (S1); and a step for pressurizing the wound body outside space (S). |
