The present invention relates to a flame retardant resin composition for covering an electric wire and a cable with improved flame retardancy and flexibility, comprising: (A) 100 parts by weight of a blend resin composition comprising a styrene-based copolymer and a polyester-based elastomer; (B) 1-30 parts by weight of an epoxy-based resin; and (C) 1-30 parts by weight of a phosphorus-based flame retardant.
