Air-air heat exchanger (10) for ventilation systems, with two air streams that are conducted in countercurrent and are arranged in a cylindrical housing (12), in the interior of which the first air stream runs in closed pipes within the heat exchanger (10), while the second air stream is arranged in the intermediate space between the pipes and the cylindrical housing (12), and a fan (14), which transports the opposed air streams and is arranged at one end of the cylindrical housing (12), wherein the fan (14) comprises an inner ring (18) and an outer ring (20), which transports in the opposite direction and is arranged concentrically around the inner ring (18), and the spaces in the outer ring (20) and in the inner ring (18) are separated from one another by a cylindrical wall (22), characterized by a bundle (30) of straight, parallel-arranged pipes (32), the end pieces (34) of which, on the side facing the fan (14), in the annular end (42) of the cylindrical wall (22), and on the opposite side in the end (44) of a cylindrical pipe connector (46) are enclosed while lying close together and taper between their end pieces (34) to middle portions (36), between which there are within the bundle (30) intermediate spaces (40), and also by a sleeve- or shell-shaped insulating insert (50), which lines the inner wall (24) of the housing (12) in the region of the middle portions (36) and constricts the inside diameter of the housing (12). |
