<p>The present invention relates to a mobile robot for providing a remote control service and a method for providing a remote control service for a mobile robot. The mobile robot can provide a remote control service for an electronic device, by comprising: a driving unit which moves a mobile robot by controlling the actuation of wheels; a device identifying unit which recognizes a heat radiating device using a heat sensor during movement, recognizes an image of the recognized heat radiating device, and identifies an electronic device having the same image as the recognized image; a device registering unit which searches for remote control information of the electronic device, and registers the searched remote control information and position information as information of the electronic device; and a remote control unit which remotely controls the electronic device using the remote control information and the position information. Therefore, the mobile robot allows a user to conveniently control an electronic device by automatically controlling the identified electronic device.</p> |
