<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for producing a metal nanoparticle dispersion liquid which can significantly suppress occurrence of a crack or a seeding in a fired film formed on a substrate. <P>SOLUTION: In the metal particle dispersion liquid, metal particles covered with an amine compound, for example, oleylamine, and having an average particle size of less than 100 nm, preferably less than 50 nm, are dispersed in a mixed solution of alkane and liquid paraffin or in an isoparaffin-containing medium. The surface tension of the mixed solution or the isoparaffin-containing medium (that is, dispersion medium) is preferably 2.0×10<SP>-6</SP>to 2.5×10<SP>-6</SP>N/m (20 to 25 dyn/cm). A conductive fired film (metal film) having a good surface quality can be formed by applying the metal particle dispersion liquid to a substrate followed by drying to form a coating film followed by firing the coating film. Examples of the metal include Au, Ag, and Cu. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
