A device for detecting puncturing of a tire curing bladder and a puncture detection method that detects puncturing of a tire curing bladder using said puncture detection device. The device for detecting puncturing of a tire curing bladder is provided with a sensor box furnished therein with a sensor that detects humidity and an introduction tube that guides water vapor leaking out of the tire curing bladder during tire curing from the curing device to the sensor box, does not erroneously detect bladder punctures, and does not require frequent sensor maintenance or exchange. The sensor box: is provided with an air supply tube that supplies air into the sensor box from outside and an air-discharging tube that discharges air inside the sensor box to the outside; and is formed in a substantially cylindrical shape. |
