<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work floor device for inspecting an elevator storable in a hoistway without causing interference with a car of descending in the hoistway by changing a height position of a work floor. <P>SOLUTION: The work floor device for inspecting the elevator includes: a base 3 installed on a wall surface of the hoistway 1 of the elevator; a first cutout 51 formed in a lower position of the base 3; a second cutout 52 formed in an upper position; a first support body 5 for selectively being engaged with the first cutout 51 and the second cutout 52; and a second support body 6 having one end connected to a part positioned in the middle between the first cutout 51 and the second cutout 52 of the base 3, having the other end connected to a support 411 of the work floor 41 and capable of holding the work floor 41 in a horizontal state by cooperating with the first support body 5.
