<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator which has a heat resistance, chemical resistance, and insulation property, with a low resistance and excellent liquid retainability of electrolyte, and is hard to short even if compressed when an electrode is sandwiched at the time of manufacturing a battery. <P>SOLUTION: The separator includes two or more layers. One layer is made from nonwoven fabric which contains aromatic polyamide continuous fiber whose average fiber diameter is 0.5-10μm, with basis weight being 3-50 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>. The other layer has a fiber structure which contains aromatic polyamide ultrafine fiber whose average fiber diameter is 1-400 nm, with basis weight being 0.1-2 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
