<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weed-proof material using a steel slag and a construction method using the same in which weed-proof effects are continued for a long time, construction is facilitated, material delivery is facilitated and environmental influences are reduced without damaging the weed-proof effects with passage of persons or vehicles after the construction. <P>SOLUTION: A construction method includes first means and second means. The first means is a weed-proof material to be laid for weed-proofing on a soil surface comprised of a steel slag which is formed by breaking into continuous grain sizes for which a maximum grain size is 40 mm, in particular, into a grain size corresponding to a roadbed material. The second means mowers weeds grown within a block that becomes a weed-proof target, and then lays the weed-proof material comprised of the steel slag of which the grain size has been adjusted so as to be continuous grain sizes for which the maximum grain size is 40 mm, over the block of the weed-proof target, for such thickness of 100 mm or more that the soil which has a grain size equal to or more than the maximum grain size of the weed-proof material, forming the soil surface of the block of the weed-proof target is not exposed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
