<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device that appropriately estimates a main subject area from a captured image. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: an imaging unit that captures a subject; a shake detection unit that detects a shake amount; a frame image division unit that divides, among plural frame images time-sequentially captured by the imaging unit, a frame image into plural image areas; a motion vector detection unit that, for each of the image areas, detects a motion vector of the image area; and a main subject estimation unit that estimates that an image area with a small motion vector among the plural image areas is an area including a main subject based on the motion vector of the image area detected by the motion vector detection unit if the shake amount of the imaging device detected by the shake detection unit is equal to or greater than a predetermined amount when the plural frame images are captured. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
