<p>A method, a device, and a system for realizing a fingerprint technology are provided. The method includes the following steps. Whether a corresponding fingerprint needs to be generated according to a data item is determined based on preset rules. If it is determined that the corresponding fingerprint needs to be generated according to the data item, fingerprint calculation is performed for the data item, and the obtained fingerprint is sent to a data receiver. If it is determined that the corresponding fingerprint does not need to be generated, a data element is sent to the data receiver. Therefore, fingerprint calculation for data items with short length and undesired data transmission during data synchronization (DS) are avoided, and the efficiency of DS is improved.</p> |
