<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic clinical thermometer which indicates a body temperature value by a general prediction of an equilibrium temperature when measuring a body temperature of a subject having a normal body temperature and is capable of quickly and accurately measuring a body temperature of a subject having a body temperature out of a normal range. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic clinical thermometer has a prediction part which predicts an equilibrium temperature based on change with time of actual measured temperature value detected at a measurement region by a temperature detecting element. When the actual measured value is in a prediction performing temperature range which is a temperature range in which prediction of body temperature can be performed, a prediction process by the prediction part is performed and a prediction value is displayed in a display part. If it is determined that no prediction is made in the prediction process by the prediction part, actual measured value is displayed in the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
