<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify both manufacturing process and mounting works by removing a hooking mechanism of a breather cap onto a gear case. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical portion 36 with a first communicating path 36a is prepared on the gear case 31, the breather cap 40 fitted so as to externally cover the cylindrical portion 36 is prepared, a first projection 41a, which forms a second communicating path 41b partially contacting with an apical surface 36c to be connected with a first communicating path 36a, is prepared on the bottom 41, and a second projection 42a, which forms a third communicating path 42b partially contacting with an outer peripheral surface 36b to be connected with the second communicating path 41b, is prepared on the cylinder body 42. Thus, a wiper motor 15 having both waterproof and respiratory functions can be produced only by mounting and fitting the breather cap 40 onto the cylindrical portion 36, achieving reduction in manufacturing cost. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
