<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure safety of a driver while decreasing time loss when the number of carrier devices of a vehicle is one to reduce cost of X-ray inspection in the X-ray inspection of vehicles. <P>SOLUTION: At step S1, a vehicle is stopped near an entrance of an X-ray inspection room outside the X-ray inspection room. At steps S2 to S4, the vehicle is carried in the X-ray inspection room from the entrance. At step S5, after the entrance of the X-ray inspection room is closed, X-ray inspection of the vehicle is performed at step S6. At steps S7 to S9, the vehicle is carried outside the X-ray inspection room through an exit, a carrier device returns to the X-ray inspection room, and the exit is closed. At step S10, a carrier response document device moves to the entrance side, and the entrance is opened.
