A structure for a raised garden comprises two side walls 10 the tops of which slope downwardly as at 15, the walls being braced by the rods 16 and having grooves 21, 20 in which transverse soil retaining partitions 17, 18 are supported. Transparent framed lights may be supported in recesses 24 in the side walls which comprise preformed concrete units 10a-10e. The back wall 19 of the device may form part of a garden boundary wall. In a modification the side walls slope downwardly from a central dividing wall to form a "tent" shape. One or more sections may be removable from the top of the back wall 19 or the dividing wall. |
