<p>A fixing device (18, 41) includes a fixing belt (21), a pressuring member (22), a driving member (23) and a slide contact member (25). The fixing belt (21) is arranged rotatably. The pressuring member (22) comes into pressure contact with the fixing belt (21) to form a fixing nip (35) and is arranged rotatably. The driving member (23) is arranged so as to sandwich the fixing belt (21) with the pressuring member (22) and rotates the fixing belt (21). The slide contact member (25) is arranged so as to sandwich the fixing belt (21) with the pressuring member (22) and comes into slide contact with the fixing belt (21).
